Graveside Services at Anderson Memorial ParkAnderson Memorial Park will prepare the gravesite for the committal service prior to burial and erect a tent near the grave with seating for family members. Family and Friends will then gather at the graveside with clergy or a leader for remembrance and committal of the body or cremated remains.
Chapel Services at Anderson Memorial ParkWithin the grounds of Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery an authentic English Garden Chapel is available for committal services within the park. Disassembled and transported from England, this 18th century chapel is a beautiful setting for services to remember your loved one. The chapel is available free of cost to those being laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Park.
Military Honors at Anderson Memorial ParkFor those who have served their country, military honors are a special part of the funeral and a well-deserved tradition at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the “Honoring Those Who Served” plan enacted by the Department of Defense, a family may request the military honors ceremony for an eligible veteran. The ceremony includes the folding and presentation of the United States burial flag along with the playing of Taps. Uniformed military persons will preside with at least one being a member of the veteran’s parent service branch of the Armed Forces. Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery is proud to help honor the service of our esteemed veterans.
