Ada Day

Ada Day, 89, of Anderson, passed away on June 16, 2023, at the Bethany Pointe Health Campus Anderson, IN. She was born on June 16, 1934, in Tazewell County, Virginia.

She was a homemaker and a member of the East Side Church of God.

Ada is survived by her children Scott Day, Bill Day, and Ada Marie Barnett; half-brother, Tommy Muncey; grandchildren, Misty Engle-Brown, Heather (Jason) Burkhart, Joshua (Melissa) Day, Kristofer (Jennifer) Day, Katherine (Dallas) Killian, Dawn Hines, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Isabell Muncey; daughter, Doris A Smith, husband, William J. Day; daughter-in-law, Kelli Day, and several siblings.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with service immediately following at 1:00 pm with Pastor Anita Jack officiating at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
