Alfred H. Jackson, 85, of Middletown, passed away on November 8, 2022. He was born on April 23, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided most of his life in Middletown.

Al graduated from Anderson High School in 1955. He served his country United States Army National Guard.

Al worked for Delco-Remy Division of General Motors, and retired after 30 plus years of service.

He was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene and UAW Local 662. Al was an avid fisherman and he especially loved his family.

He is survived by his loving children, Randy Jackson of Indianapolis, Joseph (Cathy) Jackson of New Castle, David (Melissa) Jackson of Middletown, Miriam (Rick) Storie of Kokomo, and Sarah (Phil) Zanoni of Yorktown; 12 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Also, surviving is his brother, Robert (Betty) Jackson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Doris Jackson; daughter, Sherry Jones; sister, Carolyn Gwynn; grandsons, Dustin Jackson and Kalin Storie.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Shallenberger officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
