Allen Edwin Doty

Allen Edwin Doty, 85, of Anderson, passed away on December 12, 2024, at the Waters of Chesterfield. He was born on June 6, 1939, in Anderson, Indiana.

Allen graduated from Anderson High School and served his country in the Air Force.

He retired in 1993 from AT&T after 30-plus years of service.

Allen is survived by his loving spouse whom he married May 6, 1960, Suzette (Batthauer) Doty, son, Allen "Shawn" (Nicole) Doty; grandchildren, Allen J Doty, and Demiteri (Jen) Felder; great-grandchildren, Josslyn and Francesca and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee (Doty) Felder; parents, Alvin and Ethel "Murrel" (Hopper) Doty; brothers, Roger Doty and David Doty.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park, with military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
