Barbara J. Brown

Barbara J. Brown, 90, of Paoli, passed away on July 13, 2026, at Paoli Health and Living Community, Paoli, IN. Born on May 18, 1936, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to Clifford and Lydia Cole, Barbara spent most of her adult life in Anderson. She was a homemaker, loved her family, enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, and took great pride in her home and yard.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Brown; her son, Paul McBride; two brothers, Woodrow McGill and Clifford Cole; 4 sisters, Udella Quinn, Pearly Stroud, Margret Napier, and Jeanette Cole.

Barbara is survived by her son, Mike (Shirley) McBride of Florida, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
