Barbara Gail Martin-Shannon

Barbara Gail Shannon, 77, of Anderson, went home to be with Jesus on June 11, 2022

She was born on March 20, 1945, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

She was a homemaker that loved to bake, cook, write poetry, read, and was involved in art and many crafts.

She was employed by AMVETS 692.

Barbara was also involved in church throughout her life and read her Bible daily and loved Jesus.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Lesa Evans Hunt (Hal) Hunt, Carla Evans Farmer(Charlie) Farmer, Charles Evans III (Kelly) Evans, and Sewell Jerome Evans; six grandchildren; Tyler, Ariel, Autumn, Chandler, Dallas, Gage, and two great-grandsons, Foster and Banks. Also, surviving are four sisters, two brothers, and many nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sewell Martin and Mary Martin, and two sisters and one brother.
