Barbara Ellen Willhoite

Barbara Willhoite,87, of Anderson passed away on November 14, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 27, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana.

She was a proud stay at home mother and loved spending time with her family. She had the sweetest most gentle spirit. She was an avid Goodwill shopper. One of the many things her family will miss is her famous lemon meringue pie.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gene Willhoite. Barbara is survived by her children, Linda (David) Jung and Larry (Penny) Willhoite; grandchildren, Jason (Monica) Willhoite , Ashley (Jason) Cooper, Amy (Doug) Willaert, Andria Gary (Christian Potter); great grandchildren, Elijah Willhoite, Sadie Willhoite, Amaya Cooper, Layla Potter, Ellie Potter, and Brody Potter.

Visitation for Barbara will be on Friday, November 21st, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson IN 46013. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. The graveside service will take place at Anderson Memorial Park.
