Barry D. Childers

He was born on September 4, 1942 in Anderson, the son of Russell and Virginia (Littrell) Childers. He graduated from Anderson High School and attended Ball State University. Barry was employed by Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 42 years, and enjoyed racing, canoeing and hiking.

Barry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pam (Banks) Childers; two stepsons, Kevin Ligon and Pres Ligon; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Diana Nolan; a niece, nephew, and great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tommy Dean Childers.

Visitation will be held at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service on Friday, July 29, 2022 from Noon until 2PM.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2:30 PM at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
