Berta J. Webb

Berta Joyce Webb, 86, of Anderson, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 23, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1939, in Monterey, Tennessee, the daughter of Billie Matt and Myrtle (Phipps) Ray.

She worked for many years as a seamstress, and retired from Marsh Corporate.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson. Berta loved to be out in her yard with her flowers, was a wonderful cook, liked to paint, but most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Berta is survived by her loving son, Dwight (Lisa) Webb of Markleville and their children, Ashley (Eric) Arnold, and their daughter, Everly Arnold, and Austin (Kayla) Webb, and their sons, Jaxson and Ethan Webb; son, Darren (Jennifer) Webb of McCordsville and his children, Jenna (Aaron) Goodnight and their children, Colt Sharpe and Asher and Charlie Goodnight, and Justyn (Ashley) Webb. Also, surviving is her brother, Deloye (Anna Ruth) Ray, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, AJ Webb; and seven siblings.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
