Betty June Wallace

Betty June (Hood) Wallace, 93, of Anderson passed away on November 19, 2023 at Sugar Fork Crossing following a brief illness.

She was born on March 30, 1930 the twin daughter of Cora L. (Robbins) Hood and Roy A. Hood. She was a graduate of Frankton High School. She worked production at Delco Remy for 20 years and retired in 1987.

She was a member of Madison Park Church of God, AARP, UAW 662 Retirees, American Legion #408, and a honorary Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Trina) Prewett of Buckeye, AZ; two grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forrest E. "Wally" Wallace in 2017; a son, Phillip Prewett; a twin sister, Willa Jean Walker and two sisters, Edith Adams and Wynona Tillett.

A funeral service will be at 11:00am on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Tom Malbone officiating. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.
