Betty Zane Whitcomb
May 9, 1931 — February 8, 2022
Zane graduated from Linton Stockton High School.
She retired from JC Penney after 25 years of service.
She loved to crochet and sew, which she did beautifully, and loved to watch Jeopardy.
Zane is survived by her daughter, Pam Bertram; grandson, Derik (Julie) Bertram; great-granddaughter, Brittnee (Derek) Maddox; and great-great-grandson, Knox Maddox.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Gladys Myers; her husband, Bruce L. Whitcomb and two brothers.
Services were held Friday, February 11, 2022, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League.
