Candy Ann Funk

Candy Ann Funk, 68, of Anderson, passed away after an extended illness on September 11, 2025, at the Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on June 25, 1957, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of William McIntyre and Judith Sweigart.

Candy graduated from Anderson High School in 1975.

She was a phlebotomist for Grifols Plasma Center.

She loved to go shopping and spending time with her family.

Candy is survived by her brothers, Michael (Melody) Shaw and Alan (Betty) McIntyre; nieces and nephews, Sarah (Andrew) Dimaggio, Benjamin Harris, Kyle Harris, and Brady Shaw; and great-niece and nephews, Bexley, Jolten, and Deluca. Also, surviving are several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Tami Harris, Sandy McIntyre, and Ernie McIntyre; and her dog, Pearl.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
