Carol Ann McWhorter

Carol Ann (Baker) McWhorter, 60, of Alexandria passed away on October 29, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born on March 25, 1966 in Anderson, IN to James L. and Sophie H. (Lorenz) Baker. She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1984. She worked for 15 years in the healthcare field.

She loved crafts, diamond paints, reading books and especially being a grandma. She was a former member of the Dolphin Club.

She is survived by her husband, Larry McWhorter of Alexandria; two sons, Lee (Brittley Jewell) McWhorter of Anderson and Noah (Gracy Heltzel) McWhorter of Noblesville; a granddaughter, Maxley McWhorter and one on the way due in December; a sister, Karen (Joe) Parker of North Carolina; a brother, Brian (Connie) Baker of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Kay Jones.

Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
