Clara D. West

Clara West, 100, of Pendleton, Indiana, passed away October 1, 2024, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on October 30, 1923, in Monterey, Tennessee to the late Boyd Bilbrey and Elvira Blaylock Bilbrey. She was a cashier at the North & South Anderson Kmart's for several years. Clara loved animals, her family and working at Kmart.

Clara is survived by her nieces, Barbara (Richard) Withers, Betty Land, Shelby Isbell all of Anderson; Nina (George) Scott of Monterey, TN, Pat (Tom) Benak of Elwood, Sandra (Gary) Brazel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd West; Nieces, Janice McDole, and Kathy Phillips; Brother, Arlis Bilbrey; & Sister, Gladys Qualls.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street Anderson, Indiana. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00pm at the funeral home.
