Claudette S. Wirt

Claudette S. Wirt, 83, of Anderson, passed away at Independence Village in Fishers on September 18, 2025.

She was born on March 21, 1942 in Anderson, the daughter of Claud and Lenna (Lowder) Grissom. She worked as a legal secretary for over 50 years for several local attorneys and was a member of New Horizons United Methodist Church. Claudette married Richard Wirt on June 26, 1966 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2001.

She is survived by a niece, Glenda (John) Whiteman and great niece, Alli Whiteman, and cousin, Mimi Perry.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Alice Taylor and niece, Valerie Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 11- 1 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. A funeral service will follow at 1pm officiated by Rev. Aaron Brown.

Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
