Constance "Connie" Jane Smith

Constance "Connie" Jane Smith, 75, of Anderson passed away on May 18, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.

She was born on January 15, 1950, to Keith Alonzo and Barbara Jean (Crouse) Eskew at Anderson. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1968. On July 13, 1968, she married the love of her life, Michael Edward Smith and he preceded her in death in 2008. Mrs. Smith became a homemaker. To say she was a Pacer's fan would be an understatement. She loved being a Grandma and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Connie is survived by her children, Keith Smith (Katrina) and Tammy Smith, grandchildren, Bryan Smith (Elysa), Erika Prange (JR), Devon Smith, Darrian Real (Brandon), Taylor Ake (Jason), and many great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 40 years, Michael, she was preceded in death by her parents and three great-grandchildren, Phillip, Taylor and Lucien.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, with Pastor Don Billey officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
