Cynthia Ann Austin, 76, of Anderson, passed away after a brief illness on July 26, 2022. She was born on August 28, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of Earl T. and Anna Lee Hoover.

Cindy was an outstanding wife and mother and devoted her life to the care of all animals.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jim Austin; children, Kimberly A. McGiffen (Herb Westerman) and Scott (Traci) Austin, and best friend, Pam Darst.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

A private burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
