Cynthia Lea (Davis) Flanagan, 77, of Anderson, passed away with her husband by her side on May 12, 2024. She was born on July 8, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of William H. and Lola Mae Davis.
Cindy graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1964, and earned an associate degree in Bible Studies from Liberty University.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Cindy also was a freelance Christian writer, cartoonist, puzzle maker, and artist.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, David Flanagan; daughter, Sherri (Ken) Plummer; grandson, Cody (Erica) Plummer; great-granddaughter, Aria Rose Plummer and one more on the way, Rayne. Also, surviving are her siblings, Julie Courtrecht, Steve (Tammy) Davis, and Rene (Terry) Lissy; sister-in-law, Connie Flanagan; nephew, Matthew (Heather) Flanagan; niece, Erin Cain; and several other great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sandra Jones, Daniel Davis, and William C. Davis; brother-in-law, William Flanagan; and in-laws, Laurence and Ruthelma Flanagan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.
Services will follow visitation at 2:00 pm the funeral home.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
