Dale Alan Rice

Dale served his country in the United States Navy. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He retired from Guide Lamp as a Quality Control Supervisor. Dale enjoyed collecting rare coins, astronomy, attending Pacer games, bird watching and identifying, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth (Farthing) Rice of Anderson; daughter, Lora (Dan) Tanner; stepdaughters, Robin Stone, Leigh Anne McDonald; grandchildren, Kaylen Morgan, Kyler Morgan, Derek Huffman, Ashlee Huffman; great-grandchildren, Harlee Hall, Braylee Huffman, Jordan Huffman and several nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tracy Morgan and siblings, Gary, David, Donald, and Nancy.

Services will be private at a later date.
