Dean Kelley

Dean was a 1957 graduate of Anderson High School, where he was a talented basketball player and loved all sports.

He retired in 1999 from General Motors after 34 years of service.

Dean was an avid collector and loved music and watching sports. Dean was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed studying his Bible.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Ellen Kelley, his parents, and his siblings, Buddy and Chloris, and many other relatives.

Dean is survived by his daughters, Dawn Battoe (Ed), Allison Bledsoe (Chris), and Holly Kelley; his son, Troy Smith (Elaine); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Alfrey (Devon), Sarah Hale (fiancé, Izac Scruggs), Jacob Hale, and Emily Bledsoe (Trent Lewis); his great-grandson, Hudson Alfrey; his siblings, Carroll Kelley (Gail), Linda Berger (Jerry), Karen Hallman (Mel), and Vicki Bostic; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with visitation from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M.

Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
