Delia Maxine Mccord

Delia Maxine McCord, 86, of Chesterfield, passed away on January 19, 2024. She was born on April 9, 1937, in Monterey, Tennessee, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Maxine attended Anderson High School and was employed by Guide Lamp Division of General Motors, until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving son, Tim (Loni) Ehle; siblings, Kay Lumpkins and Charlie (Cindy) Phillips; and grandchildren, Alesha Marsh and Justin Sheets. Also, surviving are her great-grandchildren, Chaz Norris, Lincoln, Wyatt, and Charlotte Marsh and Justin, Destiny, and Kaylynn Sheets; and special friend, Michael Davis.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Letha and Dow Phillips; daughter, Cindy Sheets; sister, Elsie Jo Phillips; and nephews, Jimi and Larry Mundy.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the all the staff at Northview Health and Living.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
