Dixie Friggle

Dixie Lee Friggle, 77, of Anderson, passed away on July 16, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1945, in Anderson to the late Ivan and Marcella Smith. Dixie graduated from Anderson High School in 1963. She worked at RCA for 20 years. Dixie was an avid bowler back in her days, and loved to do crafts, pottery, and ceramics.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; her husbands, Billy Kirkwood, passed in 2005 and Larry Friggle, passed in 2014; and brother, Jack Smith.

Dixie is survived by her children, Michael Reece, Steven Evans, Greg Reece, and Shari Lacy; grandchildren, Marissa Swartz, Ian Evans, Kendra Evans, Conner Reece, Ryley Lacy, Kaytlyn Lacy, and Kelcey Lacy; 2 great grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Smith.

There will be a memorial service set at a later date, please check back for updates. Dixie’s final resting place will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
