Donald Harold Maddox

Donald Harold Maddox, 83, of Parker City passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Reid Health in Richmond.

He was born on February 17, 1940 in Muncie, IN, a son of the late Carl Milburn and Gertrude Emily (Webber) Maddox.

Don graduated from Highland High School in 1958 and served his country in the United States Army. He was a farmer and also worked at General Motors in Anderson for 30 years before his retirement in 1992. He loved horses and was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Muncie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife whom he married on June 5, 1989, Judith Elaine (McKinley) Maddox; children, Tara (Ken) McDaniels and Ty Lee Dorris; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Lady Garland (William) Young and several nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Maddox.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2204 S. Macedonia Ave, Muncie, IN 47302 with Pastor Ron Elam officiating.

Friends may call from 12 – 1 pm prior to the service at the church.
