Donna Jean Pettigrew

Donna Jean Pettigrew passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024. She was born in
Houston, Texas on July 21, 1942. She moved to Anderson in 1960 where she met and married
Kenneth L. Pettigrew in 1964. They were married for 58 years and had three children.
Donna was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer with the Girl
Scouts of America for 33 years where she served as a Leader, County Coordinator, and Day
Camp Director at Camp Tanglewood. Donna also served 6 years on the Wapehani Girl Scout
Council’s Board of Directors. Donna was a Lifetime Member of GSUSA.
Donna is survived by her son, Roy Scott Pettigrew, daughter, Christine Kudlac (Keith), and 8
grandchildren-Ashley Pettigrew, Courtnie Pettigrew, Gary McCray, Nate Pettigrew, Caleb
Pettigrew, Kent Leroy Pettigrew, Kate Kudlac, and Craig Kudlac-and several great-
grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, son, Kent Alan Pettigrew, and
granddaughter, Casey Pettigrew.
