Dorothy Mary Barnett

Dorothy Mary Barnett, 103, of Anderson, passed away on February 7, 2025, at the Bethany Pointe Health Campus, Anderson, IN. She was born on November 28, 1921, in Alexandria, IN, to her parents Ray and Hilda (Duffy) Worley.

Dorothy graduated from Alexandria High School.

She married Robert Barnett in 1941 and together they raised five children.

She was dedicated to her family and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, and helped many people throughout her life. She did not know how to say, "No."

The Barnett family would like to thank the staff of Bethany Pointe and Brighton Hospice, who through the years became family friends.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Bob (Karen) Barnett, Dick(Sue) Barnett, Jean (Steven Walters) Barnett, and Tom (Tudy) Barnett; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Barbara Barnett.

A private family service will be held.
