Douglas Crist Pugh Jr.

Douglas Crist Pugh, Jr., 47, of Anderson went to be with the Lord unexpectedly at his home April 19, 2024.

Douglas was born March 14, 1977 in Anderson, the son of Doug and Diana (Cade) Pugh, Sr. He graduated from Madison Heights in 1995. He worked in food services, and AMBU where he served the last years as a team leader.

He enjoyed IU Basketball, NASCAR, playing his bass and guitar and he loved music.

He is survived by his grandmother, Pearl Pugh; his uncles and aunts, Jeff (Sunok) Pugh of Savannah, Georgia, Robert (Lee) Lowder of Anderson, Ethel Judd of Indianapolis, Wayne Judd of Indianapolis, many cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends, Gary Hawk, Jason (Krista) Andrews, Shantelle Brown and many other friends who said he had a heart of gold.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Max A. Pugh, Donald C. and Ruby Lowder, Ken and Grace Cade; maternal great grandparents, James and Mary Pugh; aunt and uncle, Jean and John Michael.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Doug Stein of Grace Baptist officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
