Ellen Ann Kelley, 75, of Pendleton, entered into the arms of the Lord after an extended illness on May 3, 2022. She was born on June 20, 1946, in Patterson, New Jersey, and resided most of her life in Pendleton.

Ellen graduated from Eastside High School in 1964, and then attended one year at Fairleigh-Dickenson College. She then worked in secretarial and accounting in New Jersey.

After meeting her future husband, she relocated to Pendleton, IN and became a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Ellen was a member of Pendleton Baptist Church, where she sang in their choir, and volunteered for Gateway Association for a number of years. She liked to draw, write poetry, read, and study her Bible, but she especially loved to spend time with her family.

Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dean Kelley; daughters, Dawn (Ed) Battoe of Anderson, Allison (Chris) Bledsoe of Marthasville, MO, and Holly Kelley of Pendleton; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Devon) Alfrey, Sarah Hale (fiancé Izac), Jacob Hale, and Emily Bledsoe (Trent); and great-grandson, Hudson Alfrey. Also, surviving are many other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alba James.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Clark officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
