Ernest worked as a landscaper for Sav-A-Tree and loved being with his family and his dogs.
Ernest is survived by his mother, Mary Parra; sons, Scott Castor and Curtis Castor; siblings, Joe Parra, Jr., Steve Parra, Raymond Parra, Robert Parra, Eddie Parra, Andy Parra, Nora Herrera, Linda Reyes, Debbie Parra, Mary Jo Camarena, and Lauri Chavarria; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Parra; wife, Shirley A. Parra, and son, Carl Castor, Jr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will be Thursday, March 30, 2023, 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
