Eugene "Gene" Willhoite

Eugene "Gene" Willhoite, 87, of Anderson, passed away on February 8, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent, Anderson. He was born on September 16, 1936 in Anderson, Indiana.

He was a 37-year employee of Delco Remy. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid car enthusiast.

Gene is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara (Stewart) Willhoite; children, Linda (David) Jung and Larry (Penny) Willhoite; grandchildren, Jason (Monica) Willhoite, Ashley (Jason) Cooper, Amy (Doug) Willaert, Andria Gary (Christian Potter); great-grandchildren, Elijah Willhoite, Sadie Willhoite, Amaya Cooper, Layla Potter and Ellie Potter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN. followed by the service at 1:00 pm officiated by David McConnell.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
