Evangelist Phyllis Ann Johnson, 80, passed away Sept. 11, 2026.
Evan. Phyllis was born in Marion, IN. She was an Anderson High School graduate, a retired bus driver and administrative assistant. Evan. Phyllis enjoyed ministering to others, bowling, coaching softball and spending time with family and friends.
Evan. Phyllis is survived by her husband Paul Johnson; son Trent (Tammy) Johnson; daughters Regina Johnson, Lori German; brother Fred “Billy” Miles; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service. Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
