Evelyn Jewel Knoblock

Evelyn Jewel Knoblock, 95, of Marion, passed away on March 18, 2022 at Aperion Health Facility in Marion. She was born on February 15, 1927 in Doniphan, Missouri to the late Charlie and Sallie (Triplett) McNew. Evelyn had worked at H.P. Wasson and retired from Guide Lamp as an Inspector. She enjoyed birds, especially blue birds and baking pies. She is survived by her children, Frank (Joyce) Knoblock of Oregon, Sallie (Edward) Anderson of Marion; grandchildren, Mark Knoblock of Oregon, Holli Kellum of Muncie, Lori Stephens of Kokomo; three great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Cledus McNew; several nieces and nephews and many extended family members. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Knoblock and three siblings. Services will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
