Frederick John Ridgley

Fredrick graduated from Anderson High School in 1960. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Navy stationed on the USS Leary Destroyer.

He retired from Perfecto Tool in 2012 after 35 years of service.

He was an avid hunter, loved the 60s, 70s, and 80s Hoosier Hysteria High School Basketball as well as was a huge fan of the Colts and Purdue Basketball.

Fredrick is survived by his loving spouse whom he married June 1, 1981, Phyllis (York) Ridgley; stepsons, Rick Lawson and Brian (Marna) Huckeby, step-daughter, Chrystal York; son-in-law, Bob Petre, grandchildren, Robbie and Natash Petre, Forrest Gray, Juliet York, Dylan Huckeby, Jaylee York, Landon, and Carson Huckeby; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Keedyn Petre, Olivia Frye, Legend Davidson, Julian Duran; and his beloved dog, Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Leona Ridgley, and his beloved daughter, Carolyn Sue Petre.

Private graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday.
