Gladys Earnesteen Hofer, 91, of Anderson, passed away on September 21, 2024. She was born on February 14, 1933, in Somerset, Kentucky.
Gladys graduated from Anderson High School. Gladys then married William Hofer in June of 1954.
She retired from the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.
Gladys enjoyed crocheting, traveling, bowling and camping with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Morrow of New Castle; parents, Charles and Mable McKenzie; husband, William "Bill" Hofer; brother, John Morrow; and brother-in-law, Terry Addison.
Gladys is survived by her brother, Robert Morrow of Nevada; daughter, Terri Addison; sons, David Hofer (Nina) and William Hofer; eight grandchildren, Brandi Bryant (Charles Walker), David (Angie) Addison, Steven (Christy) Addison, Chassidy Addison (Randy) Smith, Mike (Cortney) Hofer, Leah Fleetwood, Shaun Hofer, and Courtney Hofer; 12 great-grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Hendricks, Derrick Bryant, Tyler and Justin Addison, Gracie (Kaleb) and Gemma Addison, Tucker McQuaid, Randy Smith, Dylan and Lennon Hofer, and Katelynn and Kason Fleetwood; and two-great-great-grandchildren, Ezriah Gardner and Alexandria Hendricks.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, 1:00 pm, at Anderson Memorial Park. 6805 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Anderson, IN.
