Gary Alan Lee, 80, of Anderson, passed away on December 11th at Bethany Pointe after an extended illness. Gary was born on October 13, 1945, in Anderson. Gary retired from General Motors (Guide) after 36 years of service. He continued to work for Little League Baseball, the City of Anderson, and as a volunteer at Alternatives Inc.

He is survived by Son, Michael (Johna) Lee of Anderson; Brother, Dan Lee of Pendleton; Sister, Janice (Tom) Cable of Amboy; Brother, Robert (Sandy) Lee of Mount Pleasant MI; grandchildren, Kate (Melissa) Lee of Anderson; Hannah (Michael) Farmer of Anderson; Rachel (Daniel) Hoover of Minnesota; several great grandchildren; and brother-in-law Dwayne (Kathy) Sheppard of Pendleton.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Jo, daughter, Jennifer Mitchell, and sister, Carolyn Carter.

Gary will be laid to rest, in accordance with his wishes, at a private ceremony at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in the coming days. Memorial contributions can be made to Alternatives through their website or by mail to PO Box 1302 Anderson, IN 46015.
