Glen Edward Hoopingarner

He was born January 28, 1936, in New Castle to the late, Perry Clarence & Venus Pearl (Davis) Hoopingarner.

Glen graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1954. He retired from Delco Remy Plant 11. Glen was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the UAW.

He is survived by his children, Alan (wife, Karen) Hoopingarner of Anderson and Tina (husband, Gerald) Moore of Pendleton; grandchildren, Leslie (husband, Brad) Conner, Lindsey (husband, Brian) Burris, Ryan (wife, Samantha) Hoopingarner, Courtney (husband, Scott) Collum, Sara (wife, Victoria) Moore, Dustin (wife, Lindsey) Moore, & Emily (husband, Trent) Moore; great grandchildren, Kadence, Kage, Kaylynn, Emmah, Gwendolyn, Zayne, Noah, Carter, Drew, Lilith, Annalee, Myles, & Violet; brothers, Donald (wife, Carol) Hoopingarner, Paul (wife, Carol) Hoopingarner, & Gerald "Skip" Hoopingarner. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Georgia (Wills) Hoopingarner; and brother, Johnny Hoopingarner.

Services will be 10 am Monday, January 10th, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Bob Bell.

Visitation will be from 2-6 Sunday at the funeral home.
