Glenda Louise Gates

Glenda Louise Gates, 80, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana, where she resided all of her life.

Glenda graduated from Madison Heights High School.

She owned and operated Fred's Shed Liquor Store in Middletown, and also was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw.

She liked to cook and would host many gatherings for her family and friends.

Glenda is survived by her loving children, Greg Gates, Kim Gates, and Lori Gates; grandchildren, Tucker (Taylor) and Hannah (Ayden), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gates; parents, Glen and Freda Blades; daughter-in-law, Ray Ann Gates, and many other loved ones.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
