Helen Marie Flowers
October 31, 1928 — February 25, 2023
Helen graduated from Lapel High School, Class of 1946.
She was a partner in all aspects of the family farm. Helen was a member of Bethany Christian Church, the Miriam Circle, and shared her faith by leading a Bible Study in her home for many years.
Helen is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Flowers; sister, Phyllis Harless; grandchildren, Brian Flowers, (companion, Alison Bender), and Nicole (Chad) Dillon; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Flowers, Madison (Kevin) Ewing, Adam Dillon, (fiance, Alie Ford) and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy L. Flowers; son, Gary Stephen Flowers; parents, Elmer Ray and Beatrice Evelyn Rushton; siblings, Evelyn Butrum, Orville (Nancy) Rushton, and Edward Rushton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Bob Bell, Jim Harless, and Chad Dillon officiating.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
