Helen J. Green

Helen was a 1944 graduate of Anderson High School and worked in retail sales at various area department stores including; The Banner Store, Weiler’s, Roth’s, Wasson’s, and Elder Beerman. She was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church. and enjoyed playing solitaire and square dancing.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kuhn, daughter-in-law, Jan Green; ten grandchildren, Amber Kuhn, Jonathan Kuhn, Justin (Brandy) Kuhn, Melissa McElhoe, Aaron (Kathy) McElhoe, Amanda Kay McElhoe, Nathan (Kerri) McElhoe, Elizabeth Ann (Bryan) Messick, Belinda (Phil) Lawson, Jaclyn (Charles) Young; 24 great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by two husbands; Robert E. Green and Darrell Emshwiller; daughter, Barbara McElhoe; son, Randall Green; two sisters, Beulah Dodd and Marjorie Johnson; two brothers, Robert Cox and Richard Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
