Marie attended Washington High School.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Marie was a devoted Christian and member of the East Side House of Prayer in Irondale, liked to do all different types of arts and crafts, but importantly she loved to spend time with her family.
Marie is survived by her loving children, Patricia Schildmeier and Thomas (Anita) Allender; grandchildren, Gary (Anna) Hague, Margie Cox, John Hague, Chris Hague, Tony (Kelly) Allender, Melissa (Derek) Britton, Monica (Clayton) Messer, Shane Phillips, Casey Schildmeier, Amber (Dean) Pruitt, Carl (Kristy) Allender, Vickie (Shane) Keihn, Tabatha Allender, and Jamey (Danita) Allender; and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren. Also, surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John F. Allender; children, Achie "Cookie" Hague Pearson and Bill Allender; grandchildren, Ande Allender and Rodney Gene Allender; and ten siblings.
The family would like to give a special thank you to their mother's caretaker, Brittany Brown, for all of her love and care.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.
Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Boicourt officiating.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
