Jacquelyn S. Smith

Ms. Smith retired from Anderson Community Schools after 38 years of devotion to teaching elementary school. She also enjoyed traveling and mastered the art of belly dancing with her mother. She was also a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority.

Jacquelyn is survived by nieces Paula Bryan, Katherine “Kathy” Elliott, Lizabeth “Liz” St. Clair, Melissa Foss; nephews, Theodore “Ted” Elliott, Daniel “Dan” Elliott, Scott Smith, Mark Smith; Several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Elliott; brother, William “Bill” Smith; niece, Polly Courtot; and nephew; Leonard “Rusty” Elliott and Todd Smith.

Graveside services will be at 11am Saturday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
