James Edward Hudson 82, of Anderson, died November 26, 2024 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born on November 5, 1942 in Anderson, the son of Perry and Agnes (Hupp) Hudson.

James was a graduate of Highland High School and was employed by Guide Lamp Division of General Motors for many years. He was a member of the UAW and YMCA.

He is survived by his wife, Jane E. (Thomas) Hudson, whom he married Oct. 28, 1978; his daughter, Jennifer Hudson; and siblings Kay, Cindy, Jerry and Ron.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bob, Clara, and Ann.

Cremation has been chosen with burial at Anderson Memorial Park at a later date.
