James "Jim" K. Harl

James "Jim" K. Harl, 86, of Anderson, passed away on April 10, 2025, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born on April 11, 1938, in Cisne, Illinois.

Jim graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1956. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp followed by a distinguished career in Fire Services including 13 years as a firefighter with the Anderson Fire Department and later in Arizona.

Jim is survived by his children, Barry Harl, Anthony Harl, and Angela Harl; sister, Patricia (Don) Bell, and 8 nieces, and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews and the mother of his children, Betty, husband, Tom (Burns) Beaty

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Harl and Mary Harl.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm followed by a brief memorial service at 3:30 pm. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN 46013.
