Jane Ann Caldwell

Jane Ann Caldwell, 89, of Anderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 29, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1935, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of Doris and Oakley Skillman.

Jane Ann graduated from Frankton High School in 1953.

She worked the Anderson Banking Company, and retired after 30 plus years of service in 1996.

She like watching college basketball and her Purdue Boilermakers, but she especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She adored her two grandchildren immensely and was passionately involved in their lives, always offering love, wisdom, and unwavering support. Whether attending their school events or sporting activities, sharing cherished traditions, or simply spending time together, her presence was a constant source of warmth and joy.

Jane Ann is survived by her loving son, Todd (Chandra) Caldwell of Pendleton; grandchildren, Emma and Ben Caldwell; sister-in-law, Anita Skillman, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Caldwell; siblings, Eugene Skillman, Marvin Skillman, Walter Skillman, Glenn Skillman, Marjorie Simmons, and Frances Dominick.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Mills officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
