Janice Kay Terry

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janice Kay Terry, who left us on August 22, 2025, in Lebanon, Ohio at the age of 87. Born on September 11, 1937, to Charles and Vera (Short) Murray, Janice was a beloved figure to her family and friends alike.

For 30 years, Janice dedicated herself as a data processor, but her true legacy lies in the love and warmth she shared with those around her. She is survived by her son, Jay (Tammy) Terry, and her cherished grandchildren, Lindsey (Tanya) Terry, Justin (Kristi Lantz) Terry, Joshua (Randi) Terry, and Zachary (Misha) Terry; and daughter-in-law, Julie Terry. Janice was also a proud great grandmother to Keegan, Eleanor, Isabella, Evelyn, and Wyatt.

Janice's heart found companionship with her life-long partner of 20 years, Lavern Dratt. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Terry; her parents; her son, Jeffery Terry; and grandson, Jacob Terry.

Janice will be honored with services on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, located at 515 East 53rd Street in Anderson, Indiana. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
