Jean F. Mitchell

Jean F. Mitchell, 54, passed away Aug. 5, 2023 at IU Ball Hospital.
Jean was born Aug. 6, 1968 to Bennie and Edna Cochran. She was a Highland High School graduate and employed at Recovery Law Group. Jean enjoyed writing books, traveling, listening to music, cooking, water rafting and spending time with family and friends.
Jean is survived by her husband Ronnie Mitchell; parents Bennie Cochran, Edna Cochran; sons Khalil Wilson, Marlin Braxton, Nathan Cochran, Sirron Mitchell; daughters Joy Cochran, Ashley Hill; sisters Anita Burt, Martha Mitchell; brothers Oliver Thompson, Paul Thompson; 2 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her brother Terry Cochran.
Funeral service will be noon Friday at Greater Light Church, 317 Marine Dr., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
