Jerry Allen Clapp

Jerry Allen Clapp, 85, of Anderson passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital on April 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born September 9, 1939 to Helen (Frazier) Clapp and Henly Clapp in Henry County, Indiana.
He graduated from Middletown High School in 1957. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting. He followed IU basketball, Colts football. NASCAR, and Indy car racing. He was a Tool and Dye maker at Delco Remy until his retirement when they closed the doors.
Jerry is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Carol Dianne (Fox) Clapp; three children, Cyndi (Rick) Stechnowicz, Tracy (Lisa) Clapp, ad Tony (Andrea) Clapp, all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Nick (Melissa) Clapp of Noblesville, Sara (Addison Roberts) Clapp of Noblesville, Claire (Isaiah Oddo) Clapp of Pace, Florida, Lauren (Michael) Tupling of Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory. 200 W 53rd St, Anderson IN 46013. A graveside service will be held shortly after the visitation at Anderson Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice in honor of Jerry.
