Joan Louise Beachler

She was born October 26, 1931 in Anderson, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Mills) Cook. She worked production at Delco Remy 32 years before retiring in 1984.

She is survived by her three children, Kathy Baker, David Decker and Bob Decker; two grandchildren, Sarah (MJ) Anderson and Jerick (Jenell) Baker; stepdaughter, Debra Pagett of Kentucky; brother, Gene (Sharon) Cook of Ohio; sister, Nancy Lavender of Florida; great-grandchildren, Reagan, John, Haley and Lauren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Beachler; her son, Gary Decker; her parents; sister, Carolyn Schalk; two brothers, Richard Cook and Duane Cook.

Private graveside service will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

It was her wish to have no visitation.
