John Thomas "Tom" Lee, age 83, of Anderson passed away August 22, 2022, at Primrose Retirement Community in Anderson.

Tom was born July 17, 1939, in Elwood to Robert and Catherine (Deaton) Lee. He graduated as valedictorian from Frankton High School with the class of 1957. His senior year, he was one of the starting five of the Eagles sectional basketball team. Tom attended Purdue University and graduated in 1962 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to work for Delco Remy for 30 years before retiring in 1991. Tom married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Stoker, on September 10, 1966, and they shared 56 years of marriage together. He was an avid Frankton Eagles fan and supported the Eagles at every home game he could attend. He also enjoyed the occasional frustrating game of golf!. Most of all, he cherished time spent traveling with his beloved wife, and frequented Shipshewana and Gatlinburg. Tom was a member of the Frankton Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners, and a life-long member of the Frankton Christian Church.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife Beverly; a sister, Kathy Hobbs; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Dale) Closser, Sue Lane, and Rita (Max) Aiman; nieces and nephews, Robert, Mark, Connie, Candy, Chris, Charlie, Jacob, Vanessa, and Mark; life-long friends, Don, Roger, and Bill. Along with is his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joe Hobbs; a niece, Cathy; and several loving cousins.

Family and friends may call from 12 pm to 2 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home 305 East Sigler Street Frankton, IN 46044. Burial will follow the visitation on Thursday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Tom's name are suggested to any charity of the donor's choice.
