John Wesley Menifee

John was born Apr. 18, 1935 to James and Janie Menifee in Union Springs, AL. He was a 1953 Anderson High School graduate and retired from GM. John enjoyed fishing, recycling cans, sitting on the front porch and spending time with family and friends.

John is survived by his wife Iceyphine Menifee; sons John (Donna) Menifee Jr., Kenneth Menifee Sr., Steven (Trenda) Menifee; grandchildren Toshirro Wilson, Avery Wells, Eugenia Menifee, Shantale (Lamar) Long, Hiroka Menifee, Rayka Coleman, Kenneth Menifeee Jr., John Menifee III, Erica Menifee; 20 great grandchildren, 2 gg grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Menifee Jr.; sisters Willie Bell-Nunn, Dorothy Gillies; Daughters Linda Menifee, Dinita Menifee, Lynn Menifee, Cheko Menifee; grandsons Robert Booker, Ra’Von Menifee; great grand children My’ken Boyd and Aslynn Menifee.

Service will be noon Saturday Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. JT Menifee St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.

Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
