John Benjamin Reed

John is survived by his children Stephanie Cochran, Byron Reed, and Stephen Reed. John is preceded in death by his loving wife and partner Arwana Kay Reed and daughter Paula Elliott.

John dedicated his life to the service of others though his many years as a math teacher and department Head, his involvement in his church as a deacon and Sunday school teacher, Director at Flat Rock River YMCA camp in his younger years, even mowing lawns and shoveling snow for his neighbors. He often said that when he passed, he would go willingly with the knowledge that he lived a full life doing what he felt was most important serving his GOD and others.

Private graveside services will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
